Fabulous Rose Handmade Gujarat Antique Patchwork Tapestry Bedspread from India.
A combination of recycled antique saris and wedding gowns sewn with Zardosi embroidery, Kutch crochet, and Gujarati mirror, jewels and sequin work. Some of the patches are 80 to 100 years old so please expect imperfections.
These Indian quilts are approx. 102 x 92 inches. They cover the mattress and most of the box springs on a king size bed and come to floor on a queen size bed. Each is unique, but quite similar to the examples pictured. Comes with black cotton backing.
