Black Chaquira Necklace

Go ahead, look like a queen! by Ella.

In this beautiful necklace set, Ella incorporates the art form used by the Kuna indigenous tribe in the San Blas region of Panama to make the undulating branches along the necklace core. The branches are designed to resemble the coral along the reef near San Blas. The beads are made of what is called Coralina, which is a synthetic coral. The tiny beads are strung through wire or string to make this handmade beaded jewelry. It takes thousands of beads and a lot of hours to create this handmade artisan craft.

The set includes the necklace, bracelet, and matching earrings.
