Olive Tree Wood Camel

Hand carved from one solid piece of olive tree wood, this camel is crafted by Palestinian artisans in The Holy Land city of Bethlehem using techniques used for centuries. The artisan elects not to stain or oil the camel to retain the natural beauty of the olive wood grain. The saddle is draped with cloth resembling that used by the local beduins.
